When it rains it pours!!

I had an interesting week last week...

I developed an eye infection on Monday night which turned into a stye which was really freaking painful. Friday my husband injurs his knee and he might need some surgery or at the very least some sports physio and loads of rest and to top it off, my Father in Law lives up in QLD where Cyclone Hamish is at the moment... and I'm still jobless!

So as you can see, fun times for me! Just got back from a 2nd job interview and boy was it a tough one. It was 4 people firing questions at me for an hour. I'm exhausted now!! But feel pretty good coming out of the interview so fingers firmly crossed.

Thanks for reading!

Wow, I have just spent the last few hours completely ignoring my husband and children madly reading your entire blog.

OMG what you have written (pre op)is like my internal voice, so yeah I'm glad I have finally read a blog.

I am pre 1st appointment with surgeon, who is a major prick (I know him as I work in a hospital) and trying to decide Dr with brilliant reputation or the whole band clinic thing. I went to an information evening and it felt so loving and 'feel good'. The brillian surgeon is cheaper by $1000 but no psychologist etc. Decisions, decisions.

I can't believe in one day I have consummed so much info about your life. I was really sad reading about your MIL and totally bummed for you being retrenched.

I am rambling so I just really wanted to say THANK YOU for your blog, it is so honest.

I love that you cheated on your optislim 'cause I am dreading it. I have really had some doubts but your blog has really helped me feel better prepared.

My husband is so against me having surgery as he thinks it is a dangerous, soft option so knowing that you guys give each other support is fabulous. I think you are inspirational so you go girl! Screw annon who makes negative comments. Love your honestly and huge congrats. I would be wrapt to be 20kgs lighter. I am going to keep up with your progress. You ROCK!

Hells bells - hope your husbands knee is OK and your father in law is OK with Hamish.

Wow - full on interview - but love the good feeling afterwards.

Crossing my fingers and sending the positive thoughts your way.
